It is great to hear from Kathy D. that her first chemo session has
gone so well. I work in a hospital with an oncology treatment
center and I think that it would help if more people knew that
treatment is not always as awful as they imagine, I think that more
would go in for general check-ups and also follow-up on worrisome
symptoms. Of course, it is never a walk in the park and some
treatments are still very gruelling, but the field has seen a lot of
advancement in pain and nausea control and in the benefit of the
proper diet and exercise during therapy.

All of our prayers and good wishes are with you, Kathy. We
appreciate the updates, as long as you are comfortable giving them.
Warmly,
Sharon Knorr, BSMT, LLLL, IBCLC
