Nardil (phenelzine) is an MAO inhibitor. I don't have Hale '99 (8th ed) at
home and I don't see it in older Hale. Briggs, freeman & Yaffe 1994 say no
data avail for BF. Maybe someone has more recent eds handy.

I personally don't care for MAO inhibitors. They have so many dietary
restrictions. Life is hard enough when you are depressed. You shouldn't
have to be worrying about every bite you eat - "can I have this? oops let
me look at the list -again." there are so many newer antidepressants out
that we know can be used with BF. IMPORTANT: Nardil must be stopped for a
period of time (in most cases 10 days) BEFORE a new med can be used.
Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
