I just worked with a mother who experienced a very sudden lump in her
breast just below the nipple. No redness no pain, but rather large and
quite sudden in appearance. She saw a surgeon who did a needle aspiration
and drew of 60 CC of lymph fluid from a cyst (no milk in it). Mother said
she felt a coolness after it was drained but no pain and is able to pump
and breastfeed (she does both at different times during the day) without
discomfort. She has a hx of cystic breasts.

This is another possiblity you might wish to check out.

Def. of LC service: "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities
brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
