Hi Alla

You asked '1. /*What brand of bottled water available in US is Code compliant?*/ One of the potential venues for the August conference is not offering coolers with water, just bottled water. And after the Nestle water conundrum last April I am wondering what other companies are also not-compliant...'

This doesn't really answer your question but may be of interest - A few years ago our La Leche League group organized a one day conference with Linda Smith. We did not want to use plastic water bottles, given that it's hard to find non-nestle water and did want to support the bottled water industry, with all the waste and toxins associated with it. So we ordered reusable stainless steel water bottles (1 for every conference attendee and some to spare) and had 'Human Milk: A Renewable Resource' printed on them. We filled them the night before the conference with NYC tap water and there was a water fountain at the conference venue for refills. Yes, it was a lot of work, and more expensive than bottled water, but I think it was well worth it. I sometimes wonder how many of those bottles are still in use...
