PTP
Mom is EBF 7 mo and recently began having vision problems in left eye. Retinal specialist yesterday advised avastin injection and immediate weaning. Dr. did not give exact diagnosis, just referred to it 'retinal scarring', but did indicate that mother may 'lose all vision' if treatment delayed. mom seeking second opinion today. Mom suspects "macular puckers."

I have tried to contact the Infantrisk Center and have checked Hale. Avastin is an L3 according to Hale. Anyone have further info?
Also, just received second call from mother. Visit yesterday included flourescein injection which will likely be repeated today. Info on this would also be helpful! Thank you!
