Hi,

OK - let me clarify. :-) I know we live in germs - I have no problems with
that. It is a fact of life. :-) However, that being said - in the
situation of a public workplace refrigerator and breastpump parts being left
in said refrigerator for hours on end there I do get squeamish. I have
seen refrigerators in workplaces that I wouldn't want to store my covered
packaged food in they were so filthy and moldy. Now I know someone will say
- go clean it. OK - but I still would like to err on the side of hygiene
and coming back to the topic of simply storing used flanges in the
refrigerator between pumpings just doesn't sit well with me. It doesn't
sound like good hygiene to me. I am not saying sterilize everything every
time - but a good rinse after pumping is a lot more hygienic to me than
letting the parts sit with breastmilk on them for hours getting all dried
and crusty. My thoughts alone!

Take care!
