Pam, each state has their own laws dealing with jury duty.  I don't know what
state you are from, but Iowa (my home state), exempts mothers who are the
primary caretaker of non-school age children from jury duty, nursing or not.
 Some states also make exemptions for medical reasons, ie your daughter's
nutritional needs.  I am not a legal expert by any means, but their should be
a way to work with this.  It might help to contact someone from LLLI
Professional Liason Department to find out specific laws in your state.
