I like my Tanita BD-?? I can't remember the whole product number, but it 
is their only baby scale that is accurate enough for pre and post 
weights.

It is a bit heavy and I paid for the padded carrying case.  I do all my 
home visits by car, so it is ok for me.  I don't know if I would want to 
carry it on a subway.
