Maybe I'm missing something here, but it is normal for yields from
pumping to reduce as time goes on, and for babies to have shorter
feeds as they get older. Some long-term pumping mothers have to
increase the number of times they express in order to make up the
shortfall. And as time on the breast does not have to equate with
volume of milk taken, and as babies have *less* milk (per kg of body
weight) as they grow, and become more expert at feeding, then shorter
times on the breast are normal. I would expect this to happen at any
time from about six or seven weeks.

If this baby is healthy and thriving, and happy at the breast, then
I don't see the problem. The clicking when feeding can be a sign
something's not right, but not in the context of a happily bf baby
who is gaining and thriving appropriately.

But as I say, maybe there is a part of this story I'm missing.
