Recently one of my peer counselors who drives a bus had put our new NH
poster with a B&W picture of a woman nursing discreetly when she started
driving for them in Feb. First the (male) supervisor said something to
her about the poster, then last week she came into work and found the
poster on the driver's seat. She is indignant, and wants to know where
she should start her protest. What do you think, netters?
The poster by the way, was taken by one of our BF NH Breastfeeding
Task Force members of a client, who is 1/4 native American and is very
lovely. The slogan we choose is Breastfeeding--a picture of health, and
more... No breast is really showing, and has generally been well
responded to. Anyone who wants to see a miniature (the postcard) can
email me.
Help me formulate a response to the school board in protest of the removal
of the poster! Michelle Scott, RD,IBCLC,MOM, and BF Coordinator for WIC
