Hello all,

My .02 on yeast from personal experience.   After arriving in Italy, I spent 
about 6 months battling yeast--using over the counter medications and 2 
courses of Diflucan--husband treated as well.   I finally gave in to look at my 
diet--which was full of pasta, pastry and cappuccino!   No wonder I gained 10 
pounds!   Well, I have backed off of this wonderful food as much as I can and have 
been taking acidophilus everyday.   I recovered.   It took awhile though.   I 
seemed to have found a balance--not easy mind you when you are living in the 
best place for food!
