I have also found that some women who were sexually abused felt this
way.  A few were able to breastfeed after we talked about how healing it
could be to take back their body for it's rightful use, and did find
that this was the case.  But reframing only seems to work if the mom is
'ready' for it.

I was a childbirth educator before I was an LC, and the moms who lost
their own mothers just before adolescence were the ones most likely to
be disgusted by breastfeeding.  I always chalked it up to a deficiency
in their own adjustment to their adult body due to the time of loss of
their most important female attachment.  (note:  I am not a
psychotherapist, just postulating here).

A third reason could be a repressive family atmosphere and a lot of
shame about the body.  Though they obviously overcame this enough to get
pregnant...
