Now I have another mom having extreme weight loss ans hair loss since
BF started or since the baby was borned, I would like to know if there is
any conection and if there is anything that the mom can do to help, like
vitamins. You must think again that she must be going with another more
experienced person, as one of you mentioned the last time, but there's no
one here in Monterrey who's a leader and less an IBCLE, which I will become
someday in the future, but I read, study and try hard, and if I donīt help
this moms ,who will help this babies to keep on doing what they like most,
NURSE!

Dear Claudia,
I just came back from ILCA and had a wonderful time in your beautiful
country. Keep on helping those breastfeeding mothers. With each one you will
learn more and LACTNET can be a great resource for you. I don't have
particular advice for you with this mom, but wondered how much wt. she was
losing. I would take a dietary history and make sure she is getting enough
calories and that she does not have an eating disorder. Some hair loss post
partum is normal. Looking forward to hearing advice from others wiser than I
am, but wanted to write to encourage you to keep up the good work supporting
breastfeeding mothers.
