Hi - Animals in zoos most often do not have the mothering skills to
breastfeed. High non human primates (apes etc.), in the wild, need the
assistance of ape "aunts" inorder to breastfeed their babies - especially
the first. Indeed if they haven't been mothered well as babies they are also
at a loss. Hmmm. Interesting. Toby
