Warts on nipples safe for BF?

Hello all.  We have pt that has had multiple warts scraped from nipples recently she I'd due in a few weeks.  Both areoles were done with a breast surgeon.  It was not cancerous type warts.  Pt has had gardisil vaccine completed when in teens.  Concern even though have been removed can she still breast feed.  We know virus can still be active afterwards and can still be in surrounding tissues according to a dermatologist. The risk we are concerned for is baby getting warts in throat or airway.  It is detrimental in infants.  Can not find any studies and we never seen a case like this.  I need to be able to some medical base info to mom and surgeon regarding.
