I agree, find a new doctor! Yes, there are changes, no they shouldn't mean
you have to walk around with one contact! My first eye doctor did this to me,
I went to another one the next day, got new contacts, no problems. This same
doctor also told me I would probably go blind from not taking care of my eyes
and studying too much in nursing school!

there are tons of different kinds of lenses around now to wear daily or
weekly or monthly. Her doctor could at least give her one of those to wear. What
about all the damage to her eyes walking around with one contact! What if she
wants to nurse for a long period? Just another excuse to blame everything on
breastfeeding!

Some docs have no clue, find a new one, there are tons of eye docs around!
