I was bombarded with formula "gifts" in the mail starting about 5 weeks
before my due date. all came with a detailed info packet instructing how to
switch from breastmilk to formula in "just two weeks", and all included a
prominently diplayed "coupon"  showing that rectangle vinyl formula bag with
a bow and the headline "don't forget to ask for your free gift from the
hospital!" **gag**

p.s. about the Clove ciggy's - i smoked 'em for a while in college in the
early 90's - i was under the mistaken belief, as are a lot of college
students, that they do not contain nicotene and are "better" for you then
the regular ciggys. think of Clove as the DHA additive of ciggarettes, or as
the 'organic" formula providing a false sense of security!
