I had a doctor that used this method on a Russian mom about a year or so ago.
The husband brought her to my home. This woman had the worst case of mastitis
that I have ever seen. She was in such pain from how tight the wrap was. I
watched as she undid this bandage from around her chest. Her breasts were
beet red and hard! The husband was very angry at the doctor and was yelling
in Russian.

I usually recommend ice, cabbage, and certain herbs. There has to be more
humane ways to stopping the milk.
