No real answer here, just my experience and understanding, .....I have a
chronic condition in the same SLE family of disorders, not anywhere near as
severe as SLE, but sometimes have a titer of ANAs; antinuclear antibodies,
....people with more severe conditions, like SLE, may have antiDNA
antibodies, .....seems to me that either, IF in breastmilk, would be
destroyed in babies gut?, ......anyway I BF my three kids for many months
each and they were at the time and are now years later seemingly not affected
in any negative way, having no similar autoimmune disorders, and seemingly
very positively effected by the benefits of BF.
Ask a endocrinologist and Dr Jack about this. Dr Jack may have written about
this on LN in years past.
