I am on another list that just yesterday contained a real virus. Someone
brought home a file from work and attached it to her e mail and sent it
to the list. My virus scanner picked it up , if you dont have a virus
scanner program Go to the Tocows site to download free antivirus
programs...

An e mail cannot contain a virus, only an attachement to the mail and it
will only infect you if you open the file.
