Hi All,
   I wrote last week about the mother I saw that had severe engorgement on one side at 6 weeks.   Her Ob/Gyn sent her to a surgeon who drained a huge abscess.  Mom is feeling much better and is on antibiotics.  Her Dr. (not sure which one), told her she would be at risk for more abscesses and to wean the baby.  Since mom was already supplementing a large amount she was not unhappy about this, just glad to feel better. Though I am sorry she felt the need to do this.  Thanks for all the input each of you gave!
