I'm just curious as to when the pendulum started to swing back in favor of
circumcision? When my boys were born in the early 80's the AAP did not
reccomend routine circumcision. Neither of my boys were circumcised and I
hadn't thought anythign about it until this discussion on lacnet about the
effect on breastfeeding. It would seem that the pendulum has swung ( as it
does with breastfeeding) and I'm curious as to how, when, and why??? I
thought it was considered an unnecessary surgery.
