Pamela, I too would be very angry if another woman breastfed my baby
without my permission.
Now on Lactnet I have made a mental note that you are the HIV guru and
certainly wouldn't put my knowledge on the subject anywhere near yours, so
I would love an explanation of your so vehement reaction.
With the research that is available to date it does suggest that getting
HIV from breastfeeding isn't really all that easy, and surely would be even
less risk from a 'once-off' feeding. I guess what you may be saying is any
risk is too big a risk in this circumstance... yes?
