I'm 5'6" & DH is 6'1"
1st born, daughter, BFd 4 mos (bad info), 2yo ht ~32", menarche abt 13th
b'day, adult ht 5'11".
2nd born, son, BFd 4yrs, 2y6m ht 38", puberty 9yrs (my butterfly turned into
a caterpillar very early!), adult ht 5'11". (target was 6'4") He also spent
7 yrs toting 60-70lbs of drums on his chest in competitive drum corps.
3rd born, son, BFd 3.5yrs, 2y6m ht 36", puberty 14 yrs, adult ht 5'10".
(target was 6'even but he's still in range)
I think family history is the best indicator. I'm sure BF insures those
potentials are met. I would think if a child was unusually short without
any known short family member, other problems would have cropped up assuming
FTT was excluded. Ditto for unusually tall.
