I also tried to buy normal saline solution for irrigation purposes at a
pharmacy. I was quite surprised when the pharmacist told me it required a
prescription. He did tell me that I could make my own solution, but failed to
give me any numbers that I could work with. He gave me some sort of ratio,
but I was in distress at the time & wasn't about to try to figure it out.
