Dear Friends:
Watching ICEA go "down the drain" is a very painful process.
And J. Kermaline's story about the laboring mother and the nurse who
couldn't find the baby's heartbeat on the monitor because the baby had been
born made me feel like weeping. The "perfect birth", right? "Great epidural,
I never felt one single thing, not even the baby being born." YUK!
A small correction: Doris Haire can't turn over in her grave, because she
is very much alive and had an article on this very topic published in the
latest ICEA Journal.
Warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MSN, Mother of 2, IBCLC, ICCE, CSTP
