Hi! A mom called me who is tandem nursing a 19 month old and a six week
old. Toddler was down to nursing once every day or two, and since little
sibling arrived is nursing with the same frequency as the newborn! I
understand this is somewhat common, but mom is losing it (she just moved
into a new apartment) and wants to cut down on older siblings' feeds. She's
doing "don't offer, don't refuse", but can't feed infant without toddler
joining in. I thought of trying to limit toddler nursings to one particular
place in the home, but mom doesn't think she'll understand.
What ideas do you have? Experience with this age difference? Thankyou!
(archives aren't cooperating tonight, I'll check LaLeche site too)
