I am (happily!) back from the brink with a monitor I can actually use!  For
those of you who understood and send me things by post, many thanks. For
the nearly200 of you who continued to send me emails, my apologies for
being 3 weeks tardy in getting back to you.  (Perhaps you figured something
was up when I did not respond immediately, as is my wont.)

Now I need your help.  I need to make contact (very quickly) with an LC in
San Diego or its nearby environs.  If this is you, could you please
