I am in need of some assistance for a friend who has given me permission to
post her problem. Her brief history is:
early 30 year old woman with unilateral bloody nipple discharge. Blood only
with manual expression. Lump is felt, no pain, no reduction in lump with
expression of blood. Recent augmenation surgery. Partial hysterectomy about
2-3 years ago. Non lactating woman, although she breastfed her son for
several months 9 years ago. She has seen a doctor who suggested intraductal
cancer.
I searched the archives and checked Lawrence under intraductal papillomas,
but should I look or suggest something else? Is this benign or malignant?
Any one suggestions on what else this might be or where to find more specific
info on intraductal papillomas? TIA
