Thought you'd all appreciate this. Timothy (age 15, sophomore) is in health,
and for the next week, they are doing the "carry the baby around for a week"
thing. He was assigned a girl. they have to MAKE their own babies, can't
use a pre-fab one. (I tried to give him my great Childbirth Graphics doll,
but no such luck -- apparently the teacher is stricter than when Jill did
this 10 years ago -- she was able to use the doll). Anyway, Tim made it out
of 5# of sugar, a couple of sox, a diaper, and a T-shirt that says, "Eat at
Mom's -- A Baby's Best Start" (with the Bottle-busters symbol). What's more,
he conned me out of a sling, so will carry his baby, "Torrey Beth" -- named
after his other sister -- around school for 6 days in a sling. Also has to
take her to church, to anything going on this weekend -- whatever. Smart
kid -- he still has two hands free.
Is this an lactation consultant's kid or what?
BTW, the sling and the t-shirt were HIS idea, not mine.

breastfeeding, sling-using, dad.
