Just a personal note.

I would have hated to have had this doc as my doc (still can't believe how
lucky I got stumbling on to her, an IBCLC to boot to!). I am a one sided
nurser that fully engorges on the non-nippled right breast (due to burn
injury). The answer....cabbage leaves, cold and patience. It comes down to
supply and demand even for this extra tissue. My breast involuted just fine
and my milk supply in the left breast went ahead with great zeal (ask my
three year old that still keeps it going!).

Just thought the anecdote would help.
