I think the memory thing is like the bone mass thing -- it vanishes rapidly
in pregnancy, and doesn't get any better right after delivery, but by the
time your kids are in school you seem to mysteriously recover enough of it to
know better than their father which socks still fit and who hates peanut
butter.
