Hey all,
There was an article in the Washington Times yesterday 2/8 which is on the
Babywise books and Growing Families International.
http://www.washtimes.com, then click on Family Times.
In my opinion, the piece was very poorly done. It did not give any resources
for folks to read about the controversy -- only the GFI websites. The
research was nil, and it seems the reporter took GFI's word for the fact that
there really haven't been any babies that are slow to gain weight or FTT on
the program.
It would be helpful if you read the story to write a letter to the editor and
give your opinion.
Thanks,
Jan Barger, RN, MA, IBCLC -- in sunny and almost WARM?? Wheaton, IL
