Pat, When my three babies were born I didn't do my artwork for several
months to several years, it varied with each child.  I think it was partly
that I my interests were totally focused on the baby and partly that I was
too exhausted to do anything but get by.  However, I did tend to write more
in journals, particularly about the baby, than I normally do.  So it was
still a creative activity, but I guess more baby focused.
