This particular case is typical of several mothers  in USA who lived in
a bottlefeeding culture. She did not breastfeed the others because she
had not accepted the benefits of breastmilk. With more awareness of
health benefits, more encouragement from her doctor, she decided to
breastfeed this one who would probably be her last child. I see this
trend in USA which is gradually becoming more aware and supportive of
breastfeeding. I hope this trend continues.
