Great news on the triplets receiving breastmilk! Perhaps you could check the
archives or maybe some lactnuts will post that they have a protocol for
using br. milk via cont. tube feeding. Many nicu's have protocols re gently
agitating the syringe, elevating it, using small-bore tubing to help prevent
fat adherence and or fat boluses. My years in nicu are about 5 or 6 years
back now, but I had written a protocol long ago for our unit (prior to
1991). When the time is right, persuade him some more.
