I'd suggest this mother take the money she's saved by breastfeeding this
child for the past 2.5 years and get an attorney with the best reputation in
this kind of case.
Karen
In a message dated 99-11-14 20:01:49 EST, you write:
<< A mother called- frantic! Her 2 1/2 year old has the "worst case" of
Crohn's
disease the doctors have ever seen... The physician has told the mother that
she is
"uncooperative, complains too much and is paranoid" and has restricted
visitation in the hospital, he has also alleged sexual abuse and contacted
Child Protective Services to investigate the case while the mother's visits
are restricted. The child is extremely upset by the separation from the
mother and this has intensified mother's agitation and anger and has
increased the allegations of an unnatural relationship between mother and
child. There are some allegations of physical abuse that the mother
believes were fabricated to add credence to the allegations of sexual abuse.
In the mean time- the baby is sick and miserable, wants to nurse. What do
you suggest? >>
