Eddie,
The mom had her pituitary totally removed? Can you find out which hormones
she is taking daily, and if there were changes in hormonal replacements for
pregnancy vs non-pregnancy times? I would especially be concerned about
prolactin, which is an anterior pituitary hormone that both stimulates
breast growth and milk production. What about oxytocin? Did she have a
normal labor with her first post-surgery baby, or did it require
induction/augmentation or c-section?
I would also be curious as to what moms' breast growth during pregnancy was
like before and after surgery.
