Dear Laurie, I had some questions/comments regarding the crusting nipple.
When you say pain, are you referring to nipple only or is the br.
involved?Are there clogged ducts as well? Regardless, this is definately a
pesky, primarily skin r/t issue, might try Dr. Jack's triple paste ie. AB
ointment+antifungal+cortisone or a visit to a dermatologist. I think we tend
to refer to them far less than we should. As for your ? re; Paget's, you
know any ? is legitiamate and should be regarded as such! I sometimes find,
however that if I look back at how the ? was presented, I might have changed
it slightly such as "in my research of this, I came across a disease
called..., can you tell me more about it?" vs. "do you think it could
be....".  When dealing with SOME physicians who often think their time is
far more precious or others concerns far tooo mundane, this little change
might make all the difference! But as a nurse, I'm sure you know that!Good
