"Breast Invention" from Allure, as seen in Parade Magazine, 12/26/99.
Bio-mecanica, a Miami-based company, has produced a new device that could
increase a woman's cup size without scalpels and sacks of saline and
silicone. Two hard plastic domes connected to a battery pack are attached
to the breasts 10 hours a day. A mechanism exerts a gentle pull on the
breasts, whose volume increases an average of 55% after 10 weeks, as a
result of "tension-induced tissue growth."
It will likely be available at year's end by prescription and cost $1500 to
$3000. "It's not what you'd wear to enhance romance," said one woman in a
study. "But when you take it off in the morning, it has an incredible
effect on the libido."
Oh well Kathy, it IS about breasts, if not breastfeeding :-) Pat in SNJ
