Well, that was a speck before my time, but it was still a hit when I was in
high school in the 50s.
Which reminds me...I am celebrating my 60th birthday in November. I am
having a 50s Sock Hop in a Gymnasium. I've been working with the Disc
Jockey, picking my favorite songs. We're going to dance the night away (or
'till we fall over). And all of you are invited. It's on November 6--even
though the real day is the 16th. Wear 50s dress if you'd like.
My daughters haven't anticipated 2000+ guests, but they are good sports and
I'm sure that they won't mind.
