I just got back from a long night...one of my patients delivered preterm
twins vaginally on the 10th.  She had developed pneumonia pre-delivery and is
now on Levaquin (Levofloxacin) qd.  the nurses asked the pharmacist (Aaagh)
if it is ok to breastfeed (she is pumping religiously!) and they said no, in
fact she must pump and dump for 48 hours after the last dose.

Does anyone know if this is accurate info for this drug?  Dr.
Hale........??!!  I told the nurse this morning I'd try to call this evening
with the info...
