counseling can she do? My nurse manager is confused. As a staff nurse, I
don't want to step on her toes."

Interesting questions! Didn't they write up a job description before they
hired for the position? Is her primary role to provide staff education, or
to work directly with patients? And why didn't they put you, already IBCLC,
in that position? See, this is why I won't work in a hospital any more!
