Dear LactNet Listmates,
I have been lurking for several months and now have a question, so will
introduce myself. I am a family nurse practitioner, now home full-time, and
a new LLL leader (3/99). My question concerns adoptive nursing. A neighbor
of mine recently adopted a 7 1/2 month old boy from Cambodia. She had 3 days
notice before her husband went to Cambodia to get him. She is interested in
adoptive nursing, and will be working with a very experienced LLLL/IBCLC. Do
any of you have experience with adoptive nursing with a baby of this age?
Thanks in advance.
