Dear LIsa,
I could have written your post on your childhood experience and lack
of co-sleeping/touching/nurturing. I wanted to.......but couldn't find
the words.
I, too, cuddle to pieces with my dh and kids! It's great!
When bonding comes up in my prenatal class as an advantage of
breastfeeding, I often state that is impossible to breastfeed your baby
at arm's reach and impossible to prop the breast while the baby is in a
stroller, as many baby bottles are. I also add how I feel sad whenever
I see a baby in a stroller in a mall with a bottle propped in place, as
the baby is missing out on closeness and loving interaction with mama.
