I got a call from one of the Midwives who works for a nearby prenatal
clinics for low-income moms) which received funding to create a
breastfeeding support program (very small grant - but it is a
start).
They were wondering if there is anyone out there who has created
some sort of computer tracking system. They would like to enter mom's data
once, then have some sort of "tickler" system to know who to call daily -
who is due, who has a 3 day old, 5 day old, 1 week old, 1 month old, etc.
They will be starting a mother's support group as well - and maybe even a
Peer Counseling program if we can get additional funding...
