I don't know all the ins and outs, but this has been discussed before and I
remember that state certification is not desirable. I think you need to
legally challenge the ins cos for NOT paying allied health professionals.
After all if Washington State passes a bill that allied health providers
can bill ins cos, then they obvivously expected ins cos to pay these bills.
Then again, maybe not.
Maybe Washington State legislators were just trying to get allied health
workers off their backs :-( Find out the sponsor of the bill and go back
to him/her and ask them to put teeth in it. ie: if billed, must pay.
