Thanks for all the imput on the Florida stats. I looked at the
population changes for age groups and, yes...the age group of 45-55's
population increased by 2% while the age group for 65+ had only
increased 1%. In 1992 the age group of 45-55 who died of breast cancer
represented 11% of the total deaths. In 1997 that same age group
represented 14% of the total deaths. The 65+ age group represented 62%
of the deaths in 1992 and in 1997 represented 63% of the total deaths.
Just thought those who expressed an interest might like to know this. I
realize overall we need more information from other states and more
