Winnie, there are some good picture (diagrams) in Bestfeeding, by Renfrew,
Fisher, Arms, and in Felicity Savage-King's wonderful book Helping Mothers
to Breastfeed. Also, see Diane Weissinger's great article, A breastfeeding
teaching tool using a sandwish analogy for latch-on (with photos) in JHL.

Michael Woolridge's two classic articles in Midwifery 1986, 2:164-176
(Aetiology of Sore Nipples, and Anatomy of Infant Suck) describe the issues,
but the picture isn't great because the nose is too close to the breast.
I think Kay Hoover's picture on the cover of our book, The Breastfeeding
Atlas, shows the position perfectly. If you don't have a copy, look on Tom
Hale's page or Amazon.com in the bfg books section and you can at least see
the picture.
