I might be about to be plastered, but acknowleding that there is far more to
breastfeeding than the milk...Knowing further that each mother's milk is
unique in some antibodies related to a specific environment and it adapts
over time re: baby's developmental level...Still, wouldn't bio-engineered
human milk be better than the stuff out there now for the percentage of
babies whose mothers are not going to breastfeed (for a variety of reasons)
no matter what is discovered?
I acknowledge that the marketing for this "formula"--once the price becomes
reasonable--will only make the promotional aspects of our jobs only more
difficult, but I don't think this is a SciFi plot line. I think it will
happen in the next decades. Hmm, maybe for once we could be proactive and
work on our counter "marketing" in advance.
